RC Makati Video News: Hope Mission for Habagat Victims | A 6-Day Rapid Relief Effort

When heavy rains from three typhoons intensified the Habagat, thousands of families across Luzon were displaced by devastating floods. In response, the Rotary Club of Makati launched the Hope Mission—a 6-day rapid relief operation to bring urgent aid and comfort to the most affected communities.

From Tondo to Baseco, Laguna to Navotas, and even remote areas in Ilocos Sur—RC Makati and its partners braved rising waters, stormy skies, and logistical challenges to deliver: 1,020 food packs , 695 sets of mats and blankets , 200 slippers , Valued at ₱544,700 , Reaching 1,795 families across Luzon Led by Chair Nicky Ramos and key members including President Eddie Galvez, IPP Keith Harrison, baby Rotarians, Rotaractors, and partner clubs across the country—this mission wasn’t just about aid. It was about showing love, compassion, and unity in times of need.
